NI - Traktor Scratch PRO hell yess
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a good price to buy NI Traktor Scratch Pro, but with the educational discount! Seems like a nice little package, any suggestions as to where I can buy it from and any good/bad experiences with it?

haha sounds like it! I'm trying to save a few bucks where possible, just purchased 1 djm 800 and 2 cdj 1000 mk3's so it's hit the bank a bit. If I had the extra cash to spash around I would

Get on It-will be the best thing you did...

You get to be alot more experimental exploiting the tools in the software, while keeping it fun and hands on with you oldskool favourite control feel...

Also spend a little more and get on Mixed in Key...

I recently purchased the upgrade from NI, to make Traktor Scratch, Traktor Scratch Pro (TSP).

I'm loving it, so many fantastic new features. I think a DJ mixer with effects sends/returns and a MIDI controller are going to have to be music equipment purchases in the near future to take advantage of all the software effects and MIDI controll.

Loving the cover art for tracks in TSP, that feels so much better/quicker/easier than just using a row of names/text. Coming from mixing vinyl records for years, I really missed that visual connection between artwork and music when I first got Traktor Scratch, it's nice to have it back.

I'm pretty anal about having artwork for every mp3 I buy, sorted in my iTunes. Did anyone else find that TSP didn't import every track with artwork?

I managed to fix them all, but found I had to delete and re-add the artwork in iTunes for the tracks TSP had problems with before the artwork would show. A few I had to re-save through Photoshop before they would show up in TSP, some graphic file format bugs in TSP still to sort out by the looks of it.

The other issue I'm wondering if others are also having is the track collection refreshing to the top each time after a search, that's annoying.

So who's using TSP? How are you finding it?
