Playtime returns with another instalment of the Heavyweight Sounds series. This time we’ll be seeing the original True Playa DJ Hype alongside MC Daddy Early. Hype needs no introduction; he’s been there from the start and this year won the inaugural BBC 1 Extra’s most popular D n’B jock in the UK, leaving Andy C and Friction to take 2nd & 3rd.
Joining him will New Zealand’s latest powerhouse State of Mind who last smashed it here at Winter Enchanted. These guys are releasing some massive tunes and show no signs of slowing down. We’ll also be hearing from Sigma, who’s had several releases on the Charge and True Playaz labels and is also a UK DMC winner, as well as his fellow countryman Outrage.
