Best of the weekend

Hopefully any remnants of your weekend hangover have ebbed away by now and you’re ready for a Tuesday debriefing of the clubbing fun past! Again, we try to do this on a Tuesday as Monday is usually spent either in a state of glazed over exhaustion from the weekend or grumbling about being back at work. Also, it gives our lovely photographers an extra day to get their snaps into ITM!

Thus far May has steadily delivered weekend after weekend of plentiful club-going around the country (maybe winter won’t be so bad without the big festival events after all?) and last weekend was no exception with loads of action on offer. Leading the charge this week was of course the touring Armada Nights brand, bringing Sean Tyas and W&W down for some laser-drenched love.

Meanwhile the regional festival tour, Groovin The Moo, wound up its annual trek with a swan-song day in the Bunbury sun. As well as photos from the festival itself you can catch up on all the sideshow action from Datarock, AC Slater and some really sexxxy photos of Cut Copy in their element.

Away from the big festivals and banner tours, there was plenty of stand-alone club awesomeness spread out across the country with international DJs jetting into trouble our clubs alongside some tasty local highlights. Mumdance shook up Sydney’s Chinese Laundry, while across town bass lovers VOID celebrated their fourth birthday milestone with N-Type, and to cap things off the mighty Joris Voorn partied on the water until dawn. Things got even looser down in Melbourne where Designer Drugs, Mustard Pimp and Borgore united for a night of debauchery and (apparently) bodily-fluid spilling fun.

There’s plenty more club coverage to sink your eyeballs into on inthemix so check the Photos section of your nearest capital city to relive the weekend or find out what you missed.
