David Lynch drops his own electronic album

Renowned as the head-fucker-upper behind such screen classics as Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and Mulholland Dr., US director David Lynch has also shown off his keen gifts for electronic soundscapes with his own compositions featuring in his pictures. Now Lynch is taking his musical inclinations a step further, with the release of his very own studio album due in November.
As reported by Pitchfork, Lynch’s debut electronic album will bear the terrific title of Crazy Clown Time and will ship internationally on November 8th through Sunday Best Recordings. There’s also a feature vocal from Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ front-gal Karen O on the track Pinky’s Dream, so you can guess that it’ll be suitably twisted.
Hear Crazy Clown Time’s lead single of sorts, Good Day Today, below and prepare to get weird.
