The good summer news keeps coming, with another must-attend show brought to Sydney by Niche Productions. With the Flying Lotus and Martyn show also incoming, Niche has announced a killer double-bill under the Hold Tight banner. On 25 February, Hudson Mohawke and Rustie will bring their genre-bending bass sounds to Manning Bar.
This is Rustie’s first Australian adventure, following the rave reviews for his recent album Glass Swords on Warp Records. His set is sure to get your mind expanding and feet moving in unison. As for Hudmo, his Satin Panthers and Pleasure Principle EPs proved to be equally innovative – and his visit is long-overdue. A damn fine line-up, to be sure.
