US adventure? EDC & Electric Zoo announce 2012 line-ups

Image for US adventure? EDC & Electric Zoo announce 2012 line-ups

Between Ultra Music Festival having just wrapped up and a dance-heavy edition of Coachella about to start, the US has been a looking like a very enticing place to head over to in 2012. Adding to the wanderlust, two more mega Stateside festival line-ups have just been announced: Electric Daisy Carnival and Electric Zoo both dropping tantalising bills over the Easter weekend.

Carrying on despite the ongoing corruption-allegations saga, Electric Daisy Carnival has a bumper 2012 edition coming up in June. Among the Las Vegas-bound are big guns Tiesto, Armin van Buuren and Avicii, alongside MSTRKRFT, cake-thower Steve Aoki, bass-fiends like Flux Pavilion and legends Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin.

Meanwhile, New York’s similarly-titled Electric Zoo kicks off for three days from August 31 with an enviable line-up of its own. Titan David Guetta’s rocking the mainstage alongside Pretty Lights, Above & Beyond, Tiesto and our own Knife Party. Also among the headliners are Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Boys Noize and Axwell, to name but a few. All of this presents a pretty compelling argument to jump on a plane to The States – just don’t forget your fluoro.

I thought skrillex woulda been on there for sure. Nice lineups though, might make the trip over.
