Switch announces Australian 2012 tour

Image for Switch announces Australian 2012 tour

One half of Major Lazer and very-able producer in his own right, Switch has just announced that he’ll be embarking on an Australian tour this June.

Leaving Diplo behind and doing the DJ thing for seven dates, Switch (aka David Taylor) will be hitting Adelaide, Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra before hosting a secret party in an as-yet undisclosed city. Audiences should likely expect Taylor to drop some of his own singles, like last year’s I Still Love You, perhaps a few of his many productions for M.I.A., selections from his lengthy remix catalogue and hopefully, a bit of Major Lazer too (opportunity for some daggering, perhaps?). We’ll have more info on ticket sales soon, in the meanwhile mark the following dates in your diary.

Switch Australian tour dates:

June 7 – Apple, Adelaide
June 8 – Neverland Bar, Gold Coast
June 9 – Villa, Perth
June 10 – The Melbourne Hotel, Melbourne
June 10 – Fake Club, Sydney
June 15 – Academy, Canberra
June 16 – Secret Party
