The inthemix awards tour kicks off with a bang

To celebrate the opening of voting on the weekend, the inthemix awards club tour kicked off with a killer set from Andy Murphy at the Mynt Lounge on the outskirts of Melbourne on Saturday. With a packed house there to see the hometown DJ do his thing, we of course had a photographer in the club to capture the night. Check out the photos below.

This year’s massive 15-date tour will be snaking its way up the East Coast with a grand finale to be held at Family in Brisbane on September 1st. Joining Murphy on the road will be both new and familiar faces DJ Kronic, Ember, and Chardy, ready to tear up your favourite clubs.

2012 is set to be an exciting year for the inthemix awards with new categories, industry voted awards and the announcement of a sit-down dinner in Sydney to celebrate a decade of the Australian dance music industry awards. Remember, that it’s your votes that will decide the National Top 50 DJs, Favourite Boutique Festival, Favourite Major Festival, Favourite Club Night and Favourite International, while new industry-voted awards will determine Breakthrough Artist, Best Track/Remix, Best Live Act and more.
