Fri 30th Aug, 2013 Newsin
When Future Entertainment announced this afternoon they’d formed a “strategic alliance” with Mushroom Group, they also lifted the lid on some other very-important news. Future Music Festival fans, it’s time get excited – Future have locked in the 2014 festival dates and announced that the line-up will be revealed “mid-September”.
That means there’s just a couple of weeks to go before we find out who’s heading here next March. Already, the rumour mill’s all-systems-go – it’s looking like Dubfire will be back on the bill after tweeting at a fan that he’d be in Australia come March 2014, while plenty of punters are holding out hope that this will be the year Deadmau5 finally comes back. Future themselves have come out to promise next year’s bill will be a “blockbuster” – if you’re in the mood to get speculative, head to our list of 20 tour predictions for summer for some educated guesses.
As for the dates? FMF 2014 will kick off in Brisbane on Saturday March 1, hitting Perth the next day and then Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide the following Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
