This Saturday night will see the return of one of Sydney’s best sources of melodic progressive house, with Habit taking over the Burdekin and featuring a guest performance from UK producer Lee Softley, who makes up one half of the noted production outfit Blue Amazon.
Blue Amazon came to be in West Yorkshire in 1994, when Softley hooked up with production partner James Reid to put out a string of releases including the classic anthem There’s No Other Love. Together they’ve remixed the likes of New Order and Seal and taking their live shows to festivals like Creamfields. On Saturday, Softley will be bringing a selection of tunes that includes the likes of house, acid, techno and of course his beloved progressive trance.
Also playing on the night you’ll be hearing sets from Adam Jace, Jimmy Dau, Mark Galpin, Lee Hardy, James Metcalfe and Mish. It’ll be the first Habit gig in over five months, so it’s a sure thing that all the regulars will be getting their party on.
Habit hits The Burdekin Hotel this Saturday night, for discount $10 entry email names to info@whatsyourhabit.com.au. And check out Blue Amazon’s classic There’s No Other Love below!
