Since its humble beginnings on the Sydney club scene in 2006, Trashbags has grown into a self-made mini-empire. As well as constant tours, there’s also Tuff Em Up Records and a legion of devoted followers around the country. After the launch of the We Love Noize party series last year, Trashbags – together with D.F.B., Fake Club and Dead Eye Touring – have a new event, AREA 51, on the way.

For this new venture, the party collectives are thinking big, choosing Home as the stomping ground. It’s an all-star affair at the launch party on Friday 13 May. Belgium’s bassbin-bender Gtronic heads up the international contingent alongside masked Milanese duo Cyberpunkers, LA-bred Dim Mak recruit Motor and heavy dubstep specialist Dub Panik from Belgium’s Fight Klub. Tuff Em Up star Redial and Sydney man-about-town Ajax lead the local charge, with four rooms of music.
