With last year’s sold-out edition, the people behind Origin NYE set a high benchmark to top. 2011 was greeted by the likes of Chase & Status and Sub Focus, and this time it’s yet another smorgasbord of bass music to welcome in the New Year. Origin NYE goes down at Belvoir Amphitheatre on 31 December (obviously), and there won’t be much time to draw breath.

Origin nabbed a host of acts on the rise last year, and they’re doing it again this time. At the top of the bill is the always-firing Noisia, and they’ll be keeping company with dubstep menace Borgore, UK collective Foreign Beggars playing live and plenty more acts who specialise in shuddering bass. There’s ‘more TBC’, but to us this line-up looks heavyweight enough already. After you’ve digested this line-up, make sure to add yourself to the roll-call below.
