Time to rejoice, Aphex Twin acolytes: the twisted genius of electronic music has announced two Future Music Festival sideshows. Sydney and Melbourne are the lucky cities getting up close with the hugely-anticipated live show, and inthemix is incredibly proud to present this iconic pair of dates.

The last time Richard James brought his alter ego to Australia was way back in 2004. These days, the Aphex Twin show is a hybrid of live performance and DJing, the bottom line being: you can’t be too sure what you’re going to get. What’s certain is that it’ll be immersive and relentless, travelling from ambient atmospherics through to the heavier recesses of his catalogue.
