Although it’s sad news that legendary Dutch festival Trance Energy won’t return to Australia in 2010, for dedicated trancers perhaps a trip to the event’s spiritual home in Holland is in order? After much speculation and rumour, the full lineup has been revealed for Trance Energy 2010 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, Saturday April 3rd.

Topping the bill it’s DJ Mag Top 100’s #4 placing outfit Above & Beyond, who will be joined in the main room by fellow heavy-hitters of the global trance scene Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn, Gareth Emery, Simon Patterson & Sean Tyas, BT and Nic Chagall.

Not to be outdone, High Contrast will host the second arena with In Charge Records, and the lineup is no less impressive with Marco V, Cosmit Gate, Andy Moor, Richard Durand, Sied van Riel and more. Then there’s the Hard Stage with Scot Project, Kamui and Proteus to name a few, plus the Future Stage boasting W&W, Dash Berlin, Super8 & Tab and more.

It’s a literally utopia for trance fans, so if you’ve ever considered making the pilgrimage at least once in your life, perhaps 2010 is the year?
