The brand new Innervisions Orchestra project A Critical Mass is the result of a collaboration between highly touted electronic music identities Dixon, Ame and Henrik Schwarz.
For a new series of live performances, and as a renegade move away from the mainstream, they will be creating their own soundtrack to one of the very first horror films ever made. The Chambers of Cagliari is a silent film that originated in the 1920s, and will be given the soundtrack makeover by the quartet.
The live performances by the group will be accompanied by screenings of the film, and it’s expected to hit the road later this year. We can only dream that it will make its way to Australia, but with Ame and Henrik Schwarz having toured in the last few months (November and December respectively), and Dixon visiting this month it doesn’t look too likely. Cross those fingers!
