Surely we could all do with a little bit more Booka Shade in our lives, couldn’t we? For the past few years, the Frankfurt duo have been blessing fans with their inimitable brand of high-calibre electronic dance music, coming most recently with 2008’s double disc affair The Sun & The Neon Light, and now they’re giving us exactly what we want, with more of the beloved duo due out soon in the form of new album More!.

After hitting Australia for the upcoming Future Music Festival concert slog, Booka Shade will release the aptly titled More! on April 30th through a trio of famous labels, with Get Physical and Co-Op handling overseas duties and Australia’s Bandroom Records overseeing the local release.

“More refined production, more multi-layered atmospheres, more emotion,” says Shadester Arno Kammermeier of the album’s titular theme. “We wanted this album to be more energetic with strong grooves and of course the typical Booka Shade melodies and atmospheres that we love. The album takes you through every stage of the night out; the excitement before you go out, the party, the late, late night, a bit of paranoia…and then the sunny morning of a new day.”

Fans should be getting a taste of More! when the pair hit Australian turf later this month, integrating new material from the album into their epically titled ‘Big Balls Tour’. Note to self; don’t put the words ‘taste’ and ‘big balls’ in the same sentence.

Anyway, check the dates below for details on where you can catch the duo doing their thing this summer, and peep the tracklist for More! below.

Yet to be dissapointed with any of their albums. They could produce with their left testicles and still make something good.
