Despite an unfortunate overseas leak in the wee-hours of Friday morning preventing inthemix from having the global premiere of the new Tron Legacy trailer as planned, we were still one of the first media outlets to debut the jaw-dropping teaser last week, and ITMers voted with their voices about how excited they were to see the film when it opens this December.
While that new trailer – which you can see below in case you missed it or just wanna nerd-out again – offered another taste of the Daft Punk produced soundtrack for the film, the studio behind Tron Legacy, Disney, has now revealed a staggering six tracks from the score. Clean up on aisle…uh, my pants.
As fans have discerned from previous trailers, the new material from Daft Punk finds the French robots diverting from their standard style, instead embracing a more cinematic sound as per the brief, mixing in some orchestral arrangements with some classic Daft Punk electronics for a mesh of sounds.
